The best part of growing up in Spain as a 90s kid is that, by the time you turn 15, your entire country has gone to hell. You are officially entitled somehow to form a punk-rock band and complain about how f*cked up the world is, and still almost all the grownups around you will agree on almost everything you have to say despite being just a pubescent kid.
So yeah, while the government keeps saying that “¡España va bien!” (Spain is doing fine!), you see how people around you start to suffer the consequences of the housing bubble.
The economical crisis made a bunch of us flee our country even several years after it was officially over. Reason enough to think of ways –even hypothetical ones– to “make Spain great again”, right?
